I love flames  ;D  and have plans to do my front end one day.  In my opinion those are too small for your car and the same design needs to be used but enlarged by about 3 - 4 times to cover more of your fender.  Personally I like the gosted on flames using peal paints.  your design is very 70's and reminds me of a covette stingray matchbox toy I had when I was a kid.

As said, just my opinion.

Rusty,
I love em, you know i would say that though, as burnsy said, enlarge them and put them right up the side of the car!!!  Where did you get them from??

Definately need to be bigger and coming off the rear of the front wheel arches IMHO.

Maybe too much?

Definitely too much :o  right overall size, wrong design in my eyes.  Stick with the original flame design and just make it bigger to cover more area.

I like it coming off near the headlight though and wrapping around the wheel arch  8) just need to modify the flames so they pass each side of your chrome strip - don't cut them around the chrome.

Going bigger might look funny unless you lose the side trim on the gaurd and door, by time you take that of you might as well flame the hole car back to the rear quarters wich then might look to colourfull with two tone.
Unless you do ghost flames in the top colour or paint the top the bottom colour.

how about purple pearl ghost flames (ones that look like real fire) air brushed down the full length of the car. now that'd be a head turner

hey rusty, love the idea but personally i think the yellow/ red a bit too much. personal choice really.

did a quick edit with light blue and white i think it looks a bit more subtle but still effective

ghost would be nice though was thinking earlier on about this with mine. ( silver/ blue ghosting)

god luck

After all the hottest part of the flame is the blue!!

I like that better than the yellow, but it's all about what you like Rusty.

Hi All

How many different types of flames do you want to see.
I've got a Hot Rod mag from the US with alot of FLAMES to choose from.
I'll have a look for it as I have alot of mags alot of them, so it my take a little while.
I've been getting Auto mags since 1990.
