Title: Early Vic Members
Post by: paul_k on April 11, 2006, 09:20:12 PM
Hi
I was a member of the FE FC Vic Club from almost it's beginning in 1987 until I reluctantly sold my last FE Standard sedan in 1995. Am seeking to catch up with John Wanner (former Pres.) and others who were in the club at that time. As my sons are now old enough, they have become interested in FE's too. Also, I dont suppose anyone out there now owns either FE Special, modified reg no GTR 032 or FE Standard , stock Reg no
GNR 420? Would like to know they are still around!
Cheers & good luck to all
Paul Kenny (formerly from Broadford Vic)

Hi Paul

I've been around since the club's beginnings in 1987, although alot of it I don't remember as I was born in '87. However, my father was also around then, so I'll let him know you are looking for people from the early days.

Kate

Hey Paul.
I believe John will be at the Nats at Phillip Island over the Easter weekend, as will many other early club members. Why not drop by. The 127 FE/FC's there will be a bonus.
Regards
Alex

Mate, Id love to drop in . these days though I am heavily involved in other ancient machinery-steam trains!
I run the railway station at Drysdale & as Easter is one of our busiest times, well duty calls!
However, please pass on to John my regards & he can certainley contact me. In fact I'd love to have the club down here for a run , FE/FC's & steam trains- now theres a great photo opportunity. Seriously though, we could accomodate a great family day out for you all.
Cheers
Paul Kenny
