Title: Starter Motor
Post by: griffo on March 16, 2006, 07:38:51 AM
Hi,

My starter is sounding a bit dodgy  ( 202 red motor ) so I thought that i might replace it .
So what can i use ? will a starter from a later model Commy fit ? or should I replace it with whats already there ?

cheers  griffo.

I bought one of those high torque 1.4 kw bosch starters of ebay, they are smaller, lighter, have more power and less battery drain.
you see them frequently on ebay for between $99 and $150 brand new.

Will check out what the Hi torque ones cost here locally , then learn how to change one over !
