Title: Info needed on travel in South Aust
Post by: FE_UTE on February 23, 2006, 05:11:15 AM
The wife and I are heading off to the Nationals a couple of weeks early so we can catch up with family and friends.
I have got the ute to Adelaide for $160.00 and can book a couple of cheap 1 way tickets to Adeaide.

There are a few different times we can book for the flight

How long would it take to get a cab from the airport to the rail transport depot then down to Cape Jervis to catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island?

Cheers
Gary

Assuming you get a cab on time (probs with new taxi toll system  ;D ) you'd get to the Rail Depot in 10 to 15 mins depending on traffic. It's not that far away.
To get to Cape Jervis, allow yourself 1 1/2 to 2 hours, it is only 120 odd kms.
You get a map of directions done at www.whereis.com.au
