Thanks Guys, and Thanks Torque for posting the pics ( I'm getting lessons now on how to do it myself ).

The grille hasn't fitted in as perfectly as I would have liked, but it's in, and unless I pointed out the fact, you wouldn;t really notice anyway.

It's called "Character"

My theory is changing a bit too on how the build is based.

I was going to go NEW windows all round and New this and New that.....but the more I thought about it, the more I felt at home with 50 year old stuff.

To me, I think there is something to be said for having windows that are 50 years old, and chrome work that is 50 years old.  And like me ( when I get to fifty ), I'm going to have the odd wrinkle...that's what gives a car character.
So I've stuck with my original windows, and the chrome is not 100%...but it's bloody nice to look at !

Thanks for the kind remarks guys.....I'll post some more pics when I finally get some decent wheels !

Cheers

mark

gee that paint really takes advantage of the FC's curves much more than it would on a late model.

Looking great!

with respect to new windows... I think they are a worthwhile expense as the new glass will compliment the paint.

anyway it's looking good. nice shade of blue.

Cheers

Ed
