Title: Vic Number Plates Post by: Rod on February 08, 2006, 01:03:05 AM A quick question for Vics out there. I have a set of old black and white plate that were on my FE when I purchased it many years ago unregistered. I got it registered in the green plates and always wanted to put the black ones on. Can this be done without the expense of ordering new custom plates.

The only way to re use the numbers is to buy them as a custom plate. You used to be able to bring in your old plates and reregister a vehicle with that number but that has been done away with now.
