Title: hi new here Post by: johnf on November 19, 2005, 01:49:32 AM I have done a conversion on my fc sed. I put in a 5 speed box the car is at the interia stage. I would like too leave the bench seat in car. But floor shift hits on it is there something i can use to move shift forward more. johnf

There have been a couple of members here successfully do a conversion to their Aussie 4 speed, but that has external linkages. you can also get a new top shifter mount for the 5 speed that will move the shifter about 2 inches forward, Im not sure if this has the clearance you are after. CRS has them.
