Title: trim codes
Post by: Ed on June 15, 2002, 04:58:11 AM
Hello.. again...

I have trim code 245-568.
looking on the trim specs under 568 and the model designation provided found it was Fall red and Parchment Ivory.
Question, Does the 245 code mean anything? perhaps red on ivory or vice versa?

thanks

Ed

Ed,

The first group of numbers specifies the exterior colours and style.  245 corresponds to "Castle Grey over Etna Maroon", meaning the roof was grey and the body maroon.  The latter colour is always the colour of the front clip (FE or FC) and the former is the other one.

Check out http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/gmhpaintcodes.html for the details, and also http://www.fefcholden.org.au/techinfo/idplate.html for info on the rest of the ID plate.

cheers
