Title: Rocker Removal Post by: deano on June 14, 2005, 09:38:38 AM Hi Guys,
Removing the head off my 138 due to a burnt valve, a little concerned about removing the rocker gear is there any procedure I should follow. Any help would be great. ??? Title: Re: Rocker Removal Post by: FCwagon on June 14, 2005, 08:21:41 PM Hi Deano,
Undo the oil feed line first then start removal from the centre mounts of the front and rear shafts. Then loosen all others a bit at a time until all valvel spring resistance is cleared. Use a piece of numbered card board to poke the pushrods through so they can be kept in the same sequence when you replace them. This cuts down on overhead noise that can occur from worn sockets etc. cheers, Leigh Title: Re: Rocker Removal Post by: deano on June 15, 2005, 07:24:18 AM Thanks for the info :)
