Exactly like you've got it sitting there.  The bracket makes the plate sit lower.  A standard sized plate fitted to the bracket will look "centred" on the bumper, ie the same amount of plate above the bumper as below it.

cheers

Hi Rusty, thanks for that second pic, the close-up of the number plate bracket.  I need one and didn't have a clue what they looked like.

Now I'll be able to make one as close as possible to yours.

Thanks Kevin

Hey Rusty
"Very Unusual"   I haven't seen one before with the PURPLE fitting on the top ,     That's a very RARE bumper you have there .  ;D
Looks like a good chrome job there mate.

The bumper was rechromed and polished by a small firm in canterbury rd bayswater/kilsyth, it was stripped sandblasted, coppered, polished and then chromed , but it cost me $380, which was a bit more than expected. But apparently it will last in that condition for many many years.
Norm my old mate havent caught up with you in ages in the chat room , have to make a time to catch up soon ok?
, I needed something to prop up the middle section so "the Phantom" came in handy, am thinking of mounting him(no jokes please)on the front bumper permanently
                                   Cheers Rus

Hey Rusty,
Was that price for the whole bumper - 3 sections + overiders? If so that's a good price. I might give them a go with the FC bumpers.
I paid $350 about 3 months ago for 3 sections of the FB bumper - no overiders and the middle section has already started to haze over in a couple of spots - It's goin' back.
cheers,
Leigh
