Hey Fatboy,

You can order rubbers without the gap for the chrome strip in it, as i have one in the Van... Looks fine to me.

Hi

I recon the chrome mouldings add character to any FE FC, the only way I would put a plain rubber in is if I wanted to keep it stock.

A word of warning if contemplating using a special rubber without the chrome stripe (especially the rear screen).  The chrome strip is a filler and actually helps hold the screen in.
The rear screen could blow out at speed with the window down.
The correct standard screen rubbers are designed to work without the chrome stripe

The rubber kit was from Harrisons of  Brisbane.

good kit, just make sure you have all of the right bits.

Ed Ho also got his rubber kit from there I believe.

Cheers
Jason.
