Will a set of triple SU's fit in the engine bay of an FC?

Use the Search function, and look for "triples firewall" (without the quotes), with a Max Age since last post of 7000 days (since forever, in other words).

You'll find there are at least 4 threads that discuss this topic generally and SUs specifically in at least one.

cheers

Gaday,
Yes,they will fit with no firewall surgery provided you can find the right manifold, theres a few out there, but  mine was a Warneford Design manifold from memory. The front & back intake runner is "kicked" in the rear to clear the firewall, & the front was to clear the battery l think(my battery was already in the boot).lt was too suit 1 3/4" SU's,lots of people said they were too big for a Grey, but it had a fair bit of work done to it,it was bloody good on juice AND it went like a shower of you-know!They were the best carbies bar none, excellent for gymkhanas,l wish l still had them, but they got swapped for a 750 holley with a 355 Chevy bolted to it!  Happy Hunting!!!!!!!!!!!     Daz
