Title: News from those on the road Post by: gp on March 21, 2005, 12:43:18 AM FEVANV6 - Jason left Cairns yesterday and arrived in Mackay at around 4.30pm. We believe he will head to the Gold Coast today.
WA CONTINGENT - Surferboy and Brad had an uneventful trip on Friday to Kalgoorlie stopping overnight with Blacky. More updates will be posted. ARE WE THERE YET!!!!!!!!!! Safe and sound at Merimbula... about 3300km's. Got to hand it to NSW with the speed cameras, they warn you they are there and effectively do the job of slowing people down without just slapping a fine in the mail like what happens in QLD but especially the revenue raising that happens in VIC. Enjoyable 4 days driving... Lots of rods heading north, but not sure where to... Anyone know? See you all on Friday. Cheers Jason.
