Here are a few pics from "The Motor", November 25, 1959. This is a UK magazine that did a road test on the FC. Interesting reading, with comparisons to Vauxhall etc. They Mention that the car was all black and provided courtesy of Joseph Lucas Ltd and Vauxhall Motors Ltd.

Check out that English number plate. The text mentions that the rear plate was mounted on the boot. Pics included in the article are interior, boot and engine bay.

Great article Alex a real beauty!! It would make great reading re the vauxhall comparision. The black special looks pretty good in the shots against a London Skyline!! i wonder what happened to the car?

Looks like the speedo in the drawing may have an extra row of numerals, kilometers for Europe ?
