Title: Rod Shop Chassis Kit
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on January 27, 2005, 05:35:03 AM
Just wanted confirmation of where to attach the pictured "trans crossmember tongue". There are only a couple of sentences in the fitting instuctions and it only says -

"On some special intallations the last bracket may need to be welded onto the gearbox crossmember as our jigs only cater for the most popular swaps"

When I quizzed the Rod Shop guy he said he would send the fitting instructions and the TIC letter. Neither of which are much help.

Anyway I am guessing it is welded in the centre with the stiffening rib pointed towards the road (when re-installed).

Thanks Gary, that's how I thought it went, I just wanted to check.
