Just thought I would keep those who are wondering what stage I'm up too with the FE from Trundle. Although I have done alot with other parts of the car I wouldn't be able to post all photos. Looks great. How do you go about reconditioning the original brake and clutch master cylinders? Do you just put a kit through them, or is it possible to re-sleeve them? Yes that's right Eddy regarding the brake and clutch master cylinders. The tins were zinc plated and the original cylinders were re-sleeved with stainless steel sleeves and a new kit. Answer to Graham. It may be ready by the all Holden day next year. Eddy I have a very good man that dose all my brake parts on this one and the standard sedan. Its Martin's clutch & brake repairs on Blaxland rd Campbelltown. He's been there since the 1970s he's very good & does all brake hoses & stainless steel braded fuel hoses. I have had a VH 44 reco'd by Brabond Brakes at Penshurst 9570-8648.These guys have been in business for years and I have been using them ever since I started playing with cars. They maybe able to help talk to Paul or Michael and mention my car they worked on it about 2 weeks ago. Cheers, Graham ;) |
