Title: Paint help for Rims and maybe more...
Post by: tikEK on November 05, 2004, 01:41:40 AM
hi all. my rims are looking rather rough, chipped and downright ugly.
I wanted to paint them myself and was wondering how to approach it. My EK (sorry "F" series enthusiasts) ;) is a bit of a mild custom, so shiny, and perfect they don't need to be.
Im after the usual info, best way to prep. the rims, best paint/sealer etc. And any thoughts on colour. Im thinking either mat black or mat red at this stage... Any help/opinions much appreciated.

Should I even contemplate a respray - grey primer for the most part, or would I just be asking for trouble??? :o :o :o
cheers,
EKtiki

sounds like a rattle can of engine enamel red would be perfect!

just use wax and grease remover prior to application.

Cheers
