Thanks for comments guys

Stinky: The rake is staying on the fence as my 20 month old daughter loves to help dad on the car with anything she can get her hands on.

Slim: Your got first drive after me.

Ed: The engineering & detail in yours makes mine look like a heap.

Cheers
Glenn

Ha Ha, I didn't even look at the fence, I meant the stance, slightly lower at the front than the rear.
I'm not reall keen on gardening implements  ;D

Glenn,
I wish people like you would stop using this Forum to "Show Off your tallents" it makes mere mortals like me want to cry. Seriously you have done a very fine job and the paint work is tops!
Now you have to keep the progress pictures coming

Thanks guys

Stinky: I am going to drop the rear a bit not to much as it has 235"s on the back that will just sit neatly in the wheel arch.

Nicko: I am very happy with the shine off the gun with acrylic it should come up like a mirror when its buffed hopefully. This was my first ever respray & I had quotes up to 10k so i thought bugger that i will have a go myself & saved heaps. The engine bay, underneath are all painted in 2pak but I was a bit reluctant to spray the rest of the car in 2pak due to the toxic fumes around the kids & the complaining neighbours but in the end it turned out better than i expected thanks to advice from Craig & his brother & others from this forum

Hi all
Well after over 6 years I have finally got to the end of the tunnel. The wagon was REGISTERED on saturday after putting some very late nights/early mornings over the last month but it was worth every bit of it. On sunday we had the family over for a BBQ to celerbrate & took my kids & their cousins for their first drive in the wagon talk about a grin from ear to ear, I had to bribe my 2 year old daughter to get her out of it.
I will post some new photos hopefully later today.
Glenn

P/S I would like to thank all the people on this forum who have helped me out(you know who you are) with advice, parts, ideas & motovation over the years. If it wasn't for this forum i know i would be still in the very black part of the tunnel. THANKS GUYS.

Those hard years have finally paid off.

Glenn, Good to see the car in the flesh tonight at Motorex, it's a stunner!
BLOKES & SHEILAS, make the time over the weekend get your bodies out to Motorex, there are some teriffic club cars on display, Geoff has his newly completed Business Sedan, Stuarts Ute, RETS Special sedan, and Teds Panelvan.
Not to mention all the the other cars and bikes on show.

Gary's spot on - if you can get there make the effort to go to Motorex. I've just got home from the show and can't wait to get there tomorrow to see the public reaction to our stand - and to shake Glenn's hand for a terrific effort on his wagon. Great job.

Cheers,

Craig.

Glenn,

I would like to echo our phone conversation tonight - your car is just fantastic. Lots AND lots of people stopped and commented on how good it looked. Your work was REALLY appreciated by your peers - THE best result.

Great job mate, a VB and a handshake coming your way.

Cheers,

Craig.

Thanks Guys
It was a buzz to see peoples reaction to the wagon on sunday.
Graham,
The seats & door trims were done by a trimmer in Ingleburn but I wouldn't recommend him unless you have got a few months to spare.
The roof lining is the same material that was used in Streetneat's wifes sedan which Craig post a link to a while ago. It was made by eastern auto upholstery in bayswater victoria who imports the material from england. I sent him down my old lining as a template & 2 days later he sent me the new one all ready to fit.
For those who are thinking of getting one, I think they now have the templates to do all the body types & would highly recommend them but be warned its not cheap..
Glenn
