Title: Weight of gearbox

Can somebody tell me, please, the approximate weight of a "grey" gear box.  I'm trying to get an idea of interstate freight costs.    ???

Don't know if this is of any help at all - but if the gearbox needs to get to Melbourne and you can get it to Mt Gambier by Sunday, I'd be happy to take it back for you. (03) 5367 6995

Martin, Weight of grey motor gearbox (not EJ) is 26.308336 kilograms dry.

Thanks, Meeky - I haven't made the commitment yet - but if I get it, it's coming the other way - from Melbourne to Adelaide.  Many thanks for the offer.   :)

Not sure if they will take it, but Bus Freight seems to be the cheapest method of moving stuff around the country.

If it is any help, I have an FE out the side with a grey that has succumbed to the elements, the gearbox is still attached in unknown condition. Yours for the taking.
