Title: Another one for the database
Post by: nigelb42 on August 29, 2004, 05:48:23 AM
Hiya All,

I was poking through a wreckers yard and saw that he had an FE special in the shed.  The owner is 'gunna' restore it one day.  It had been badly primed and mostly stripped but at least its out of the rain.  It has an immaculate roof lining and the sunvisors are same as the roof but piped in poo brown.

the numbers are:

FE 225 30994 S

Trim - 212 - 473

Paint - 253 - 7699
          256 - 7698
Chassis - 8 53227 S

Engine - J70038

Hey Nige, Were the seats anywhere to be seen? That may be the same colours as my fe wagon trim.

Gary,

The front seat was in it and was in OK nick, the back one was gone but it would be no good for your wagon anyway would it?.  The door trims were not there either, but as the car had been stripped they may have been in storage.

Oh yeah ...It had a really cool old fashioned tow bar on it too.  It looked big enough to tow the QE2.

Oh 'Allwreck' it mut hve been, I think that's closed down now?  I bought a complete very clean HG belmont from there for $200, was a real bargain.  Nice car too!
