Title: Getting there Post by: utey on May 13, 2004, 01:38:21 PM A bit more work to do. Need some better badges, a front seat and some intterior trim.
These forums have been a great help. Thanks Nick http://img66.photobucket.com/albums/v201/utey62/FC%20Holden/ Title: Re: Getting there Post by: FCwagon on May 13, 2004, 08:02:55 PM Nick,
Great looking wagon. Being an Essendon supporter I can't help but lurv the colours. If your seat's buggered make it a priority for the next job to do. That way you'll really enjoy your cruisin'. cheers, Leigh Title: Re: Getting there Post by: craiga on May 13, 2004, 08:15:25 PM Really good looking wagon Nick, and an unusual colour scheme. Is it as per the ID plate?
By the sound of it you don't have that much work to finish - your at least on the downhill run to completion. I hope to see you at next years Nats - the more wagon's the BETTER ;D Cheers, Craig. Title: Re: Getting there Post by: utey on May 14, 2004, 12:32:25 PM Thanks guys hope it stays that way, its an every day driver.
Great concept Harko Craig original colours 2 tone grey but went with the maroon and black to match the interior trim. Any ideas where I can get or what i can use for the inner rear quarter panels. Tried some MDF? some time ago and it wasnt flexible enough and might have been to thick. Any ideas Nick Title: Re: Getting there Post by: craiga on May 14, 2004, 06:56:51 PM Nick,
You should try trim board. If you wet it slightly you could easily bend it to shape. Paint it with some vinyl paint and it should do the trick. I bought some last year for about $20.00 or so for a 2m x 1 metre sheet. Still got heaps left, but you're a bit far away!! Cheers, Craig. Title: Re: Getting there Post by: JB on May 14, 2004, 11:41:40 PM Hey Harko,
Like the concept... Getting the rear window down could be tricky. ;D Jason. Title: Re: Getting there Post by: RET on May 15, 2004, 12:27:44 AM Even opening the back door looks problematic ;D

(http://img54.photobucket.com/albums/v164/sgomachen/CAR PICS/fc_wag_redback.jpg) PS Utey, take Stinky's tip of replacing %20 in the pic address with a space and your photo should post, see post in general section. Title: Re: Getting there Post by: Hewart on May 18, 2004, 10:06:33 AM G'day all...
Everyone seemed to be photoshop-ing poor old Nick's FC wagon.... so I thought I might join in... ;D Going back to Leigh's original point about the Essendon colours, when you owned the "Swan-mobile" Leigh, were you at all tempted to splash a bit of black paint over the white...? ;D (http://img47.photobucket.com/albums/v145/Hewart/extras/footywagons.jpg) Cheers Les... ;) PS: Wouldn't load pic, so click here I guess... cheers http://img47.photobucket.com/albums/v145/Hewart/extras/footywagons.jpg Title: Re: Getting there Post by: Phantom on May 18, 2004, 09:18:52 PM Hewart that is a great pic you have posted , pity about the swans car in the pic, the bombermobile looks sensational
Cheers Rusty Title: Re: Getting there Post by: FCwagon on May 19, 2004, 02:22:09 AM Nice pic Les.
No.... black paint never crossed my mind when I had the swan-mobile - there's nuthin wrong with the Swanees colours. I even considered a bit more red tho' after seeing this beastie. Leigh Title: Re: Getting there Post by: HAD 708 on May 19, 2004, 09:03:59 AM I must add that i have always loved FE/FC in the timeless classic Black and White.
