Title: Replacement tray for FC UTE
Post by: paddockbasher on May 10, 2004, 09:53:45 PM
I have recently acquired 2 FC utes;with the intention of making one good from both. Both have rotted out back trays. Is there an aftermarket supplier or is it a case of cutting and welding?

I'm in Bathurst area, NSW.

Are you talking about the floor under where the timber tray goes?

Cheers Geoff

yes sorry..Apart from a crossmember? over the diff and about six thin metal strips running from the back of the cab to the tailgate there is nothing.

P.B.      the cargo area of a ute is a false floor...under that you should have a complete wgn floor including seat mountings...if thats all gone, id say you should look for another shell

Thanks Norm

Rang the guy but all the parts/vehicles now gone! On the bright side found another one of the utes locally which isn't as badly rusted . Rust around driveshaft tunnel at base of cab and a little around fuel tank which I'm thinking should be repairable.
