G'day Surferboy

It's a good time to ask about the weather, as it's this time next year that we hope to see you all in the Snowies.  It's been pretty sunny, but sometimes cool and windy with temps roughly 15-20...  

The next few days have showers forecast.  Will know more after my trip to Thredbo for downhill mountain bike race next week.  Should be great as water + dirt = mud = fun    

Do WA folk own jumpers?  If not, buy one to bring along next year...  that goes for Qld'ers too!  :)

SurferBoy, they forgot to tell, its a lovely short sleeve shirts  mornings at 1 - 6 deg   ;D at the moment in ACT with lovely sunny days around 20 - 25

Cathy just said she's looking forward to a hot, roaring log fire in a ski lodge,cuddling up together on a large leather lounge, sharing mugs of hot cocoa & toasting marshmallows.
(She appears to have some strange expectation that this might be a romantic weekend - I just love her optimism )

Weather update,4.45 pm, 13.5 C :o, cloudy and overcast a real typical start to winter here. :-[
Wet suit could comein handy for the rain ::) ::)

and they rekon nz is a cold hole  ;D ;D ;D

Not complaining about the rain(been a long time coming), sometimes we need forty days and forty nights worth in Canberra. Hmm an FC ark :)

Hmmmm, John I think if we get that much rain we'll have to christen our FE/FC arks "Titanic", because I'm sure that they'd sink, with their reputation for leaking water!! ;D

AND........meeting all the friends we have made over the years, having a drink and a good chinwag.

Here here!  Who wants romance anyway?  Cars are much more fun, and they don't whinge or talk back.....Having said that I've today discovered that not only does TC stand for The Car, Travelling Circus, Top Chick and Top Car, but it also stands for Total Cow!  If that stupid fuel leak doesn't sort itself out soon I'm going to get at it with a large blunt object.  Of course you do all realise that THIS means WAR!

We've reached a compromise.
Cathy will.... put up with a 6 day drive across the nullabor in the wagon , 4 days of insesent inncec enses insc..nonstop chatter about car stuff & freezing cold mornings.
Surferboy will.....pay for the week in a 5star sydney hotel.

Sounds like surferboy better be careful what long term memories get picked up from stay in 5 star Sydney hotel  ;D  ;D

Hey Surferboy,

Well it was about 25 degrees today, 26 tomorrow (easter) and 27 on Monday.
Hope the weather is this good in a years time for the nats.  :)

Its cooling down a bit. After 6 months of mid to high 30*C with NO rain and bright blue skies.
woke up this morning to see clouds in the sky and its just reached 30*C at 1.00pm.
A beautiful day for cruising around with your arm hanging out of the open window of your FC (or FE) as you listen to Jerry Lee Lewis blasting out of the stereo at 110 decibels  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
or sitting around catching up with old mates   :)  :D  ;D

Trying to decide what to pack for Tassie in April
checked out the weather for last year and found this

There were also a few cold days, temperatures remaining below 15 °C in most areas between 18 and 19 April when a southerly flow brought snow showers to Mount Wellington and the central highlands. Mount Wellington 's maximum of only 0.1 °C on the 19th was the coldest day of the month.

YAHOO   ;D  ...  snowball fights and building snowmen for the Interclub challenge ?

And I thought the 10 mm of ice we scraped off the cars in Cooma was going to be the worst we would ever see. Maybe digging for FC's in the snow would e a good challenge ;D
