Title: HR SPRING MOUNTING PLATES
Post by: Blown_FC on March 17, 2004, 01:37:50 AM
I'm chasing a pair of 'Good' HR spring mounting plates....that's the plates that sandwich the springs to the diff housing and has the bolt on it for the Shocks to be mounted on.

My plates are worn where the shocks mount on, so I need a good pair that aren;t worn or rusted !

Cheers
Mark
(Will pay fair price )

Thanks for that....although, they look like home made plates.

They must be from a different model that I'm not familiar with, as my plates, are not flat, they are moulded to hold the spring pads.  Where's the strength in a flat piece of steel with a bolt welded on an up turned lip ?

Yikes.....

Have found some from a guy in Melbourne..should be here any day now, but thanks for helping out anyway

yeah they are fb/ek - but not being familiar with HR stuff I thought they may also fit cos a lot of those sorts of parts fitted several models.

Being from the deep south Mark, is there one with any fb/ek parts for sale there that you know of.
Cheers Nick
