Title: Fast Eddie's Garage Post by: Fast_Eddie on February 27, 2004, 08:32:34 AM Here are a few shots of the Station Sedan that I bought recently from Canberra.
(http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/6-1-1.jpg) It has very limited rust, but obviously needs some paint. (http://photo.starblvd.net/FastEddie/6-1-2-1079479799.jpg) Interior is very good for the age. Five FCs and one Merc. Here they are: 1958 Special Sedan This is my original FC. I purchased it as a shell in November 1991, just after my 21st birthday, and restored it to standard specifications. The paint combination is Volcanic grey & India ivory. This is the car that is now being converted to 307/TH350/9" running gear. (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/1-1-5-1071547688.jpg) 1959 Panelvan I purchased this car in September 2003. It is painted Volcanic grey, however it is tagged as India ivory. The interior is a combination of FE & FC Special in red/black. I was planning on selling this, however, after a long drive today, I've decided to keep it. (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/2-1-3-1079825140.jpg) 1959 Special Sedan This is the car that is showing 14,500 miles, that I found when looking for a station wagon....... (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/3-1-2-1071730987.jpg) (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/3-2-3-1071731146.jpg) 1959 Special Station Sedan The one that has just come from Canberra (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/6-1-1-1079584863.jpg) 1959 Special Sedan The black sheep of the family (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/5-1-5-1080981735.jpg) And for something completely different...... 1965 Mercedes Benz 220SE Coupe (http://photo.starblvd.net/~FastEddie/4-1-1-1068424288.jpg) and that's about it! Title: Re: Fast Eddie's Garage Post by: Ed on March 01, 2004, 09:16:31 PM Looks as though u have quite a discerning eye for quality cars.
I like them all I have to say, but I'd be in trouble if I brought home so many cars. I really dig the Merc too.. v. nice. Cheers Ed Title: Re: Fast Eddie's Garage Post by: Fast_Eddie on March 01, 2004, 10:09:30 PM Ed,
Thanks for your comments. Emily is pretty understanding, however the black FC is causing some concern, as it sits out the front at the moment. I have a feeling that I may be in trouble quite shortly unless I do something with it..... The Merc is a nice old thing, it is currently undergoing a full restoration. I plan to use it as my "everyday" car when it is finished. Regards Edward |
