Thought some one might be interested in this if your doing up a Taxi. I am not to sure if FE/FC's used these at any stage but you never know.

Looks a bit Later than FE/FC, Id say it was a Ht. HG. Hk. HQ Era more likely.. And decimal currency didnt come in til the late Sixties I think.... Could be wrong though.

14TH OF FEBRUARY 1966 ?, I agree, that looks way too modern, even allowing for a decimal conversion, I thought that the older meters were unpainted alloy cased. I'ts funny when people refer to "old cars"or old or period accessories, they are often talking hk,t,g,q.
Maybe I'm over the hill  :'(, but old to me is EK & before.
