Title: Stedi Lights Post by: Oggz on February 19, 2025, 05:30:22 PM Heyo,
Has anyone put these into thier FE/FC? https://www.stedi.com.au/stedi-7-inch-iris-chrome-led-headlight-pair.html ($2) its a 7" light? I am guessing a decent alternater upgrade would be needed over the ole generater Cheers J Title: Re: Stedi Lights Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on February 19, 2025, 06:21:48 PM Have you seen this mob?
Classic style LED headlights, doubt you'd need an alt upgrade for them. https://www.banginheadlights.com/collections/7-headlights Title: Re: Stedi Lights Post by: ardiesse on February 19, 2025, 07:43:38 PM LED headlights draw less current than tungsten-filament headlights. They'll make your poor old generator brushes last much longer.

Do you think they would fit in the FC head light cone? look alot deeper than the Stedi ones I like the idea of the DRL also being another indicator as well J Title: Re: Stedi Lights Post by: FireKraka on March 04, 2025, 01:46:09 PM Bangin Headlights are a direct fit for FE FC FB EK
Title: Re: Stedi Lights Post by: Errol62 on July 05, 2025, 01:33:56 PM Yep, I’m the SA guy that got the bangin headlights fitted to my FB ute, originally running factory Bosch lights. They fit in the Bosch buckets just fine. Buckets are same as FC with the addition of three tabs for mounting the covers. The owner of the business fitted them for me and was surprised as he thought the cars all had Lucas lights. They are basically the same format as all the 7” Lucas P7 style but different plug. They light things up very well and draw minimal power. Certainly no need for relays. My only issue is that if one goes you have to replace the entire unit, which would run to $150.
