Hi.... Can anyone tell me when you put park lights on an FE does the main headlight have a low beam or does the blinker light come on.... I was told that my head light is wrong and need one that has another bulb...

I think FEs have the parking light in the headlight, just like the earlies do.
The alternative is to change your indicator bulb sockets to take dual-filament globes, and modify the wiring to suit.

Yes, there are 2 globes in an FE headlight. A larger one which is low and high beam for the headlights and a smaller globe which is the park light.
They are much harder to find than FC headlights because FC headlights are the same as most later models up to Commodore.
The exception was LH Torana (I think) which had the same system as FE except that it was a sealed beam unit with a clear panel at the back where the park light globe shone through.
I had these globes in my last FE to give it slightly better lighting.

My 73 LJ Torana had the same. very small parker globe in the headlight.
This changed because the 72 model had white front indicator lenses and was the parker as well.
73 had orange indicator lenses so were not allowed as an orange parker. Early HQ was the same.

I put the Torana  headlights with the Parker light in the FC and changed the wires around to suit and put an orange globe in the blinker.

FE headlights were bulb lights unlike the sealed beams in toranas . I think I might have some . They where my preference over FC as if you blew a headlight you still had the dull glow of your parker to mark the corner of your vehicle .
