Spats are a universal fit for both FE and FC sedan and wagon and do not have a certain year shape or design. The louvered type are a different style and were often retro fitted. I would think, but will await GURU clarification from Ken Mclean, that the louvered type are a later design marketed by speed shops and dealers in the 60's whilst the plain type of that era are a NASCO option fitted from dealers. All the GMH advertising shows no louvers or badges of any kind. However, I think I recall the Motor Spares catalogue having an advertisement for spats with louvers which supports Brett's recollection. I'll keep looking Ken |
