Title: Re: Painting engine Post by: collecta on March 30, 2016, 12:20:21 PM I never have using engine enamel, just make sure your engine is clean of oil and grease. power plus can does mention to use zinc rust inhibitor paint first but as i said i never have and all my engines are still as good as the day i painted them.
cheers Scott Title: Re: Painting engine Post by: Fraze on March 30, 2016, 01:13:06 PM I didn't bother to undercoat my engine, just cleaned it thoroughly with "brakleen" and sprayed it with Industrial Grey enamel (in spray cans) from Bunnings. 18 months later it is still as good as the day I did it.
