Nope but I reckon that'd look crap. 4 cents worthTitle: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 06, 2014, 11:31:28 PM I mean at the top though not side. That's why I want pics

Title: Re: C pillar fuel filler Post by: hsv-001 on December 07, 2014, 09:40:12 AM You mean like a Jag . I think it would ruin the body lines . If I was going to do anything with it I would put it under the tail light like a 57 Chev . Haydn
Title: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 07, 2014, 10:15:39 AM Yeah.
http://www.thexj6blog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Fuel-lids.jpg I think it might draw too much attention to it but would be more unassuming in the body colour. I'm tall and want a higher filler. I think in the light is a good option I was looking at too. If anyone has seen a trim in that position pls put up the link. Title: Re: C pillar fuel filler Post by: customFC on December 08, 2014, 12:57:47 AM (http://s29.postimg.org/8nprjp1oj/BL444b.jpg) ($2) Bob Ljubic's FC had a jag filler. Regards Alex Title: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 08, 2014, 10:30:03 AM What is that bit called below the rear window glass? Yeah like Haydn said. It's the old racing type so that they loaded fuel in from the top. You would hardly see it from the side with it completely flat though. Reason being is I am thinking of making a tank behind the seat cos it's better for handling.
Title: Re: C pillar fuel filler Post by: waynos on December 08, 2014, 06:37:39 PM ok i got it now
Title: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 08, 2014, 06:46:43 PM Reason why is if I end up racing it u need a filler that can take a manual tank like over the shoulder. Better that it faces up. Better on the left too.
Title: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 08, 2014, 06:51:16 PM Or perhaps a filler like this would look better

On top as much as possible so as not to ruin the body line . Haydn
Title: Re: Post by: fe350chev on December 08, 2014, 08:06:48 PM I'd rather it be a ve or vf press type. Bugger the cable. See the ve is round and simple attached to door central locking. Or perhaps a small diameter boat deck type. Basically where that other pic has it. U don't see it from the side. But can top load it with track style filler. Title: Re: Re: C pillar fuel filler Post by: fe350chev on December 08, 2014, 08:38:22 PM Thinking of using a tank like this. (http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/12/08/266fc067cde023ebbc37cd60fd208073.jpg)
