Title: fc front grille
Post by: GMHwagoon on October 10, 2014, 04:16:23 PM
just got the chrome work back for the front grille
have painted up the grille shell and is ready to put back together
 my question
does the grille need to be complete when fitting it up to the car
or can you put the grille shell in first ,line up panels ,then add the chrome work

thanks greg

Hi Greg, I know you can do it to FE easily enough, but i'd imagine that FC would be a bit harder considering the lower chrome section.

cheers
Scott

Must admit I hadn't given it any thought Greg, but I am sure it could be done.  It would be awkward getting all the screws for the chrome bits in, but I think that would be the only issue.

Cheers, Graeme

I think it would be much easier to fit the complete grill, a lot less chance of scratching the paint when you only do it once.
