Mmmmm, yes please.  What delivery time can I expect if I order one just like that?

I'm green with envy.

Not to sure on the FC bonnet mascot, But the rest looks magnificent.
We need all the FE wagons we can get on the road  :)
Welcome to the select few FE wagon owners Fatboy.

Hey Fatboy, Alex didn't ask me if I wanted to buy it. I would have given him at least $10 more!

FE 219. The rarest of the beasts,
Would love to see more pictures of both.
In my opinion there are very few examples of 219s left and need to be looked after.
My FE 229 will be a family heirloom to be passed on to future generations as a good example of Holdens first production line Station Sedan.
All part of our Holden heritage  :)

Certainly is a nice looking original wagon. Well done Fatboy.
Stewy, numbers from my research are as follows
7400 FE 229 made
1800 FE 219 made
Spare a thought however for the 217 models when considering hard to find cars
1560 FE 217 made
200 (yes just 200) FC 217 made

Come on Ken, you need to write the book  ;)
I love your wealth of info, and willingness to pass it on.

None of those are hard to find at my place, just hard to restore. Nice score FATBOY.

...spotted an FE standard wagon the other day in Tullamarine....had historic plates, with pale blue exterior and looked dead stock....

There's one like that in the Ballarat Club I think, sometimes seen on the Dr Blake Mysteries TV show...
