Post by: slim on June 24, 2003, 02:40:57 AM
I have a Radiator out of something very old , perhaps a Chev or the like , Can anyone help me identify this old Radiator as I dont want to take it to Scrap if its of some rarity and could help someone with there restoration. Here is a picture showing just how large it is .Compared to an FC radiator

Hi Slim.
No promises. But it looks the be about the same size as one I have from an old Morris Comercial truck that I have (Had). But, it may have been something that fitted a dozen different applications.
Hope this helps.

I agree, anything with that height has to be a truck radiator.

Hey Slim, it looks very much like my Plymouth radiator, inlet and outlet holes look right, even mountings look similar, got some dimensions !!

Come to think of it , It was in the back seat of a 1937 Chevrolet  my mate owned about 5 years ago. It was one you had to hand crank to start , do you think thats what its for, Im still unsure . Will get dimensions
