Title: Dashboard frame removal or modification Post by: fe350chev on August 19, 2014, 01:33:13 PM Hi all. What have you done when the car is stripped and you are blasting it, do you remove the dash skeleton, if so what's the best way or is it just easier to leave it in. Its on the rotisserie and I'm mainly concerned that it is keeping the front rigid.

Title: Re: Dashboard frame removal or modification Post by: fe350chev on August 23, 2014, 09:28:35 PM Ok. Cos I got the both of them, fe and fc, I will keep the fc
one in but because I'm customising the fe I'll take it out. What's the easiest method of removal. I did think of cutting it somewhere and narrowing the whole thing and incorporating 2 air ducts in somehow that are completely disguised ??? But I'm not sure whether to wait and do it when I'm ready to trial fit the new column to rack steering. But just getting ideas at this stage. |
