Must be me going pie eyed but I can't bloody find the type n size of the three bolts that go into the Y frame from the gearbox mounts and the screws that go in the top of the rear door  ???

NES

I have used brass machine thread bolts and nuts.

After fitting with the nut on the top side of window frame I cut off flush and file finished.

Dab of Loctite always works well.

Do you want me to send photos?

Cheers

Top of the rear door should have rivets....

Since the small hollow rivets can be hard to find, this is what I do.
Use the appropriate size pop rivet then take a pin punch and tap through the remains of the steel shaft to remove it.
Then using a countersink punch, tap the bottom of the rivet up neatly.
Failure to do these last 2 steps will result in bailey channel which does not sit in place correctly.

Good idea! Think I'll try that.
Got the length and size on the gear box mounts?

Funny ,Old farts like me can sift through bucket after bucket of spare bolts in the shed and tell you what each bolt is for [all being early holden ] but never stop to think about guys building their cars for the first time not knowing what size bolts go where .Probably because I rarely buy them new [tight ass]. Its only when it comes to mods. or hot rod projects I have to think about it . Haydn

Well its not my first build although being somewhat younger it is odd to my mates that I work mostly in Imperial (including at work). I do lack the hoard of bolts that you talk about Hayden  :P

I have plenty of bolts sorted and stored here. Make a list of what you need and I should be able to supply it.
