Title: Holden Lion Post by: Stewy on February 23, 2014, 10:27:37 PM (http://s29.postimg.org/8yajdwp7n/004_1024x683.jpg) ($2) (http://s7.postimg.org/3r8t65e5j/008_1024x683.jpg) ($2) Had the pleasure of visiting Ray Grigg today, a previous Director and General Manager Operations at Holden in the eighties. I have known Ray for a while as he was the president of the R.A.A ( Royal Automobile Association) here in Adelaide where my wife also works. We finally had the chance to get Ray and FErgus together for a photo shoot. Ken Title: Re: Holden Lion Post by: Stewy on February 24, 2014, 06:34:30 PM Career contributions to Holden.
Ray was the man who battled GM for the bigger platform of the VN commodore, when GM still wanted to persist with the narrow opel VL platform. Those of you that have the book " Heart of the Lion " by John Wright. pages 283,284 gives an insight into this.
