The paint code of mine is 253-0770 Granite Grey and 266-7770 India Ivory. 7700 is the other code for Granite Grey. Also all my glass has the dot over the a, so this would make it a late 58- early 59.

Apart from forgetting the code for India ivory, i also made a typo in my response. The 2 codes for granite grey are 0700 and 7700, therefore Geoff is right, the missing code on the plate is 7770 because as both Geoff and Jim say 7770 is the code for India Ivory. Jim can you post a pic of your plate, it would seem yours must have been stamped wrong at the plant if it has 0770, I have never seen this code before.
