Title: New FE Flooring Post by: copper1 on September 07, 2013, 03:47:28 PM Hi everyone just thought I would put in a quick post. Well after about 10 weeks my new flooring turned up from ALLCARCARPETS from Victoria. just finished putting it in and apart for a few dramas putting the seat back in it looks schmicko. Couple of before and after pics.

Thanks for sharing ;) Craig Title: Re: New FE Flooring Post by: DJ on September 14, 2013, 05:01:02 PM Looks the part alright. I'm about to order the same so comparing with several outlets. Any views on ALLCARCARPETS vs OBSOLETE RUBBER MATS appreciated - I can't get to the outlets to view the actual products. The cost differs but that isn't always the deciding factor. Both look good in the photos but are they similar compositions & fit? Not sure also about the underlay. Any advice? Dave.

Hey DJ I don't know about obsolete rubber mats but these are quality I only had to punch a couple of holes for the front seat and seat belts and they were fitted. The worst thing is the time frame 10/12 weeks from placing the order. Then I suppose it comes down to cost front and rear $800+ 30 postage from memory. Anyway I am wrapped. The underlay I just used the old underlay that was in the car as it was A OK. Gaz Title: Re: New FE Flooring Post by: mcl1959 on September 14, 2013, 06:56:43 PM Obsolete costs $300 each and quote 6 weeks delivery. As I said I think they all come from Obsolete. I used Obsolete on all my cars and they were very good.
Ken Title: Re: New FE Flooring Post by: DJ on September 14, 2013, 07:32:46 PM Thanks Gaz. Sounds like the same quality product from the same place, as Ken suggested. I'll call ALLCARCARPETS on Monday. OBSOLETE quote this morning totalled $1110 for front, rear, boot, 4 mud flaps & P&P. Lead time would be a little more than normal just now but that's not an issue for me at the moment. Dave.
Title: Re: New FE Flooring Post by: copper1 on September 14, 2013, 07:39:09 PM If you are getting all of that for $1100 that's a good deal so I would not disregard them. I only went with all car as I found there add on ebay they do the boot mat as well for all three would be $1200 and that's without flaps.
Title: Re: New FE Flooring Post by: DJ on September 14, 2013, 10:57:51 PM Gaz,
It does sound good when you put it that way. I see other discussions all include the same positive comments that you & Ken make on the quality too. The breakdown from OBSOLETE today - Front $280 Back $280 Boot $300 Mud flaps $100/pr (front or back) P&P $50. Deposit $100 & COD for the balance when shipped. Lead time was expected to be more than 6-8 weeks this time. I think he said the mud flaps extend the timeframe until orders are sufficient for a run. Thanks, Dave. Title: Re: New FE Flooring Post by: copper1 on September 14, 2013, 11:18:52 PM Dave, I got my mudflaps and mounting brackets from this forum have the NASCO emblem on them but I can't remember the fellas name but I'm sure some one will he is from Victoria and does an excellent job.
