Title: Pot metals and dye cast quality
Post by: fe350chev on July 26, 2013, 07:48:35 PM
Hi

Does anyone know if pot metals used on FE and FC and from various factors were all of similar quality (or lack thereof) and apart from light bezels and normal things made from these materials, what are common parts using ordinary quality metals. I was convinced that the column metal would have been real crap but it was good but very light. Sorry if it sounds weird but it may affect the way I choose to buy parts for modification.

Thanks.
