Ratios are below, if it was a long stroke 202 I'd say the w version would be better having a taller first gear but as with the transit, getting it off the line was important so lower gearing was good. Title: Re: celica t50 gear box Post by: NickZ on June 26, 2013, 09:04:12 PM A toyota T50 is a gearbox from a 1600cc engine, i used to play around with toyotas and ive smashed half a dozen of them with mild 1600 engines, I wouldn't put one behind a 6 cylinder.
a W50 would be a better, but a W57-W58 would be the better choice.
