Title: Nasco Displays (This one's for Cat)
Post by: RET on May 18, 2003, 02:18:14 AM
Here is a request from the Editor of "Accelerator" calling for photos of good trade displays to be featured in the magazine.

From the October '57 issue (Vol.14 No.9)

cheers

Hey RET.
How about some close ups of those displays. They're a bit hard to see like that, and look interesting.
Regards
Alex

As requested, here's a close-up of the displays.  All of them have appeared in other issues of Accelerator, so I can probably find the original if any are of particular interest.

Thanks ret!  It's always interesting to see what old Mally got up to when he wasn't driving the old girl.

By way of explanation, Cat has an FE wagon in Melbourne that her grandfather bought from his good friend Mally Watts once he was finished with it as a company car (it was about a year old at the time).  M. C. (Mally) Watts was a director of GM-H and editor of "Accelerator" magazine from it's inception until at least the 60's.
