Title: Boot Lid Alignment
Post by: FCV08 on October 03, 2012, 06:55:42 PM
I am having trouble with the boot rubber fitting correctly down at the bottom .

Can anyone give me a hint on how to get it all to work without the boot rubber popping out just above the fuel filler.

I seem to have the boot lid located far enough back but it still refuses to keep the rubber in the correct location.

Thanks

Craig D

Hi Craig I don't know whether this is your problem our not but it is very easy to fit the rubber the wrong way around and when you close the boot it catches the rubber at the bottom, bit hard to explain but the roll over lip should face the body of the car and not the inside of the boot, hope this helps you.   Roy
