Title: Rosevale Grave Yard
Post by: FC0058 on May 11, 2003, 07:20:56 AM
Hi all
I went out to have a better look at the stash today. There really is not that much good stuff left out there.

As you will see in the following images the big C has taken its toll on these fine pieces of history.

In saying that there are still plenty of bitz and pieces there of use to some of use, but you have to be willing to look for it and put in a little effort and time to find it then get it out.

There are plenty of: old grey motors, gearboxes with linkages, diff's, tailshafts, steering boxes, a brake components. A few of the cars still have the dash intact there is also heaps of rims around and the old guy who owns the place has some NOS cross ply tyres in his shed (I am not sure of tyre size).

The old bloke who owns the place has a good knowledge of the place and has heaps of stuff in his shed and from what I can tell sells for a very reasonable price. I spent 4 hours there picking through the wrecks. I came home with a full set of dash components, clutch M/cylinder, bulb holders for both indicators and dash lights, heaps of nuts bolts and screws, door locks and a few other odds and ends all for the low price of my time and $20. Cheap for a day away from home and being surrounded by cars. lol  ;D
