Title: spray can for touch up job
Post by: Ric 66 on June 17, 2012, 07:15:42 PM
hi all , this is my first post, can I start by saying what a truly amazing forum , the amount of info is overwhelming , any way ..has anyone ever heard of getting the old paint codes into a spray can for very small touch up jobs ? I have asked a few shops around Brisbane and none of the suppliers paint code records seem to go back to the late 50s , is there a colour code up date tool ? to bring the old codes into today's colour numbers ? any help appreciated , thanks Ric  ???

I had the local paint shop colour match me some paint for a spray can. Then you will have a formula.

Depens which state you are in - Eastern Auto Piants in Melbourne can mix up virtually all of the old codes in new paint.
