Why does it have no armrests? but instead has those pull handles.
Alex ... not a complete rebuild , but a complete renovation ... interior stripped and will be refurbished in black and white with some chrome bling , engine bay stripped except motor ... twin carbs , extractors and PLENTY of chrome ... in the short term it will be "rat-rod " matt black in race trim ... GT stripe and all ... all new brakes , lines and hoses (boosted) ...all nuts , bolts , washers clips etc replaced with stainless ... lowered 2" all round (after rego) ... Deep dish chromies AND Cheviots ... More to come ...
GOA 350 ... and black and whit armrests ...if I can find some to re-trim !!!!

Nice work on those carbs.... those old drag ways look in good nick... if you're interested in a brand new set of 13" Simmons wheels to suit ( old Skool Simmons style ) let me know, i've done some searching and ring around and looks like now i can source them...

Looks great David,what did you use to clean the carbies?I have recond one of mine so far and I can't get that new finish on the body.Jamie.
I had them sand blasted then smashed them with compressed air ... but gotta make sure not a grain is left inside ...
And apart from the "Hustlers" I got her some "Rockets" ... stripped the paint from the hubs and spokes ...tip ... don't use paint stripper if you're wearing bare feet ...and a good polish ...

It didn't occur to me , but I did get one blue cap from a Ford wheel... the two red ones came from Holden mags and the last blue cap wasnt on a wheel ...so you are most likely right !

Weddo ... at this stage gloss black coz I have lots of chrome bling for the old girl ... the triple SU's came up a treat so might spoil them with some fancy shining ram tubes too ... hadn't thought of silver .. but ... not a bad idea to play with ...

Hi there Gaz ... got the Dragways on her at the moment ... the Tasmans are upstairs under my bed ... you know , they give me that warm happy fuzzy feeling at night ...
The number 5 is my favourite number and it's on the her in the event that I ever get to race her ... which is the ultimate goal ...
Weddo and Colt have told me that Alloy Roll Cages have been banned by CAMS for newly constructed Race Cars , so I'm going to have to construct mine from PVC tubing and spray it with aluminium coloured spraycan ... a mate of mine recommended covering the joins with foam rubber for that "authentic" race look ... also got a few extra cans of "piss" yellow spray for the diff ... also great for performance I am told ... my only real concern is that I may get "Black Flagged" if all the Bog in the sills falls out ... might have to do something about that ...
