Title: Boot lock cylinder Post by: curlslinc on November 29, 2011, 05:57:33 PM Hi all , any ideas on how to install - how does that back plate hold the cylinder lock in place, tricky holding with your finger !
Title: Re: Boot lock cylinder Post by: fcwrangler on November 29, 2011, 07:19:50 PM It helps to have a second pair of hands, you need to make sure the plate is in place first, then place the barrel&arm through the boot & the plate. Make sure the arm is located in the lock fully & then push the plate up over the tabs in the barrel. It can be a bit of a pain due to the lack of room but you just need to keep at it.

Title: Re: Boot lock cylinder Post by: FCRB26 on November 30, 2011, 05:07:44 AM The trick is to do it before you put the boot lid on .
Or get a 360 degree swivel wrist would also help. You thing you have the little bugger and you feel again and its not between the little grooves.
