Title: Clear Coat

Just wanted to find out if modern clear coat can be rubbed back and resprayed if sun-damaged. We have a Black 2001 Barina and the roof looks like a blackboard :'(

Saw one on Harry Potter the other night. Dunno how it'd take being sanded though...
