FC have 3 holes for mounting blinker assembly, where FE only have 2 mounting holes. Also the holes for the wiring are in different places on the guard. Best to look through some of the project threads & you will see what I mean. Dean. Title: Re: fe /fc gaurd Post by: mcl1959 on April 17, 2011, 09:50:43 PM The hole for the FC indicator globe holder is lower than the FE - it is almost right down on the join in the panel. Also FC guards had a slight dimple where the indicator mounts. If you use an FE guard you generally need some spacers at the bottom hole to line the indicator housing up with the grille.
