Title: Best interior red colour
Post by: fe350chev on April 17, 2011, 02:22:20 PM
Trim 254-847
Paint 253-7773
253-5300 insert

Hi

Just wondering, with this body and trim combo, the black and red interior should have some red colours in the interior of the car. The interior is black and red i just wanna know what is the best colour holden red of the period to use with the red and black fc interior?

I am changing the colour to black outside and wanna splash some red inside for a retro look.

2 tone grey cars never had any red paint on the interior. Have you had a look at Jamie's black car in "it has started, but will it continue?"
The red in his car was originally chosen so that it matches the red vinyl - this should be your prime consideration.

you have answered half my question, that red wasnt in the actual car so I now wanna know what holden colour, if any is a good match. His build is awesome. Should ask him.

Guys,
I don't quite understand what you are discussing, but!

Single colour 'grey' cars and Two Tone 'Gypsy Red over Cabot Grey' cars had Aladdin Red or Gypsy Red interiors. (27 trim variants in FE 225, 10 trim variants in FC 225-all FC's single colour 'grey')
(for example)
FE 225 "Cabot Grey" Special with "Fall Red & Parchment Ivory" Trim, had 'Aladdin Red' on the interior above the belt line.
